Hydroacoustics

Listed in Alphabetical Order

Actran

Hydroacoustics | Vibration and Flow Noise

Actran is a acoustic simulation software to solve acoustics, vibro-acoustics, and aero-acoustics problems. It implements a iterative time domain DGM (Discontinuous Galerkin Method) solver, solving Linearized Euler Equation (LEE). Element interpolation order is automatically defined by the software based on element size, frequency and flow.

Avast

Hydroacoustics | FEM | BEM

Avast is used for the numerical prediction of the acoustic radiation and scattering from floating or submerged elastic structures immersed in fluid domains. It combines both the finite element method for the structure and the boundary element method for the fluid.

Odin

Simulation and Training | Hydroacoustics

Odin is an underwater warfare simulation environment. It was designed to simulate the detailed interaction between underwater objects, whilst retaining a sufficiently fast running speed to enable multiple engagement  Monte Carlo effectiveness studies to be performed. It has ability to correctly handle multi-static acoustics within the underwater environment, using multiple sonars and reflectors.

Surma

Electromagnetics | Infrared and Thermal | Hydroacoustics | Magnetics | Undex | Fire Dynamics

Navy Combat SUrvivability Manager Application, SURMA, is a software tool for comprehensive combat survivability assessments. The goal is to enhance the combat survivability features from the very beginning of the design process.

The first SURMA release is intended for the design of naval vessels, taking account the effects of UNDEX and AIREX either inside or outside the vessel. Users can aim for different EM, RCS, IR, Underwater Magnetics and Visual Signature levels. All changes of vessel geometry or materials can be immediately analyzed.
