Angora is a software package for electromagnetic simulation. Some important features of Angora, such as focused laser-beam illumination and numerical optical-image synthesis, are geared toward optics applications.

Others, such as random medium generation and multilayer support, are useful for any antenna, microwave, propagation, or remote-sensing application.

cadRCS

Electromagnetics

CadRCS provides high resolution Radar Cross Section (RCS) calculation based on 3D CAD data and can import *.stl files. GUI based graphical display enables precise identification of radar reflecting areas. It also provides mono-pulse pictures, showing where on the object a radar seeker will aim.  In this way, the simulator permits continuous stealth assessment of ships, aircraft and other military constructions.

Cast

Electromagnetics | MOM | PO | PTD

CAST is a software tool for Radar Cross Section simulation and analysis for calculating monostatic and bistatic RCS, amplitude, phase and distance figures for complex 3D objects. The calculation uses Antenna Theory applied to Physical Optics (APO) in combination with the Physical Theory of Diffraction (PTD) to predict the Radar Cross Section. For modelling small details, a Method of Moments (MoM) is used.

Epsilon

Electromagnetics | GO | PO | GTD | PTD

Epsilon is a software tool designed to predict the Radar Cross Section (RCS) of a target directly from its geometrical description.

Lucernhammer

Electromagnetics | PO | PTD | SBR

Lucernhammer is an electromagnetic signature prediction code suite, used for the prediction of scattered far-zone electric fields and radar cross section (RCS) of realistic radar targets. Lucernhammer is export-controlled software. Distribution is limited to United States government, its contractors and qualified educational institutions.

Electromagnetics | PO

POFacets is an implementation of the physical optics approximation for predicting the radar cross section (RCS) of complex objects. It utilizes the scientific computational features of commercial code MatLab and its GUI functions. The Physical Optics (PO) approximation is one of the RCS prediction methods for an arbitrary three-dimensional target.

Electromagnetics | MOM | MLFMM

Puma-EM is a code that allows the computation of various electromagnetic quantities when a target is excited by an electromagnetic source. These quantities are the scattered fields and the currents on the surface of the target. The target is for now a perfect electric conductor (PEC).

Surma

Electromagnetics | Infrared and Thermal | Hydroacoustics | Magnetics | Undex | Fire Dynamics

Navy Combat SUrvivability Manager Application, SURMA, is a software tool for comprehensive combat survivability assessments. The goal is to enhance the combat survivability features from the very beginning of the design process.

The first SURMA release is intended for the design of naval vessels, taking account the effects of UNDEX and AIREX either inside or outside the vessel. Users can aim for different EM, RCS, IR, Underwater Magnetics and Visual Signature levels. All changes of vessel geometry or materials can be immediately analyzed.
