Gerris is a software program for the solution of the partial differential equations describing fluid flow. It is a tree-based adaptive solver for the incompressible Euler equations in complex geometries.

It has been designed to cover all the common needs in the numerical simulations field from pre to post-processing: geometrical modeling, effective definition of analysis data, meshing, data transfer to analysis software, as well as the visualization of numerical results.

GIMP is an acronym for GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed program for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. It has many capabilities. It can be used as a simple paint program, an expert quality photo retouching program, an online batch processing system, a mass production image renderer, an image format converter, etc.

GHS Load Monitor (GLM) is a software program used aboard ships to monitor stability and/or strength with various loads. It gives vessel operators the ability to quickly check the safety of present and anticipated loading conditions. GLM does not rely on precomputed hull and tank characteristics; rather, it computes these directly from geometrical models of the ship and its tanks.

Gmsh is a three-dimensional finite element grid generator with a build-in CAD engine and post-processor. Its  design goal is to provide a fast, light and user-friendly meshing tool with parametric input and advanced visualization capabilities. Gmsh is built around four modules: geometry, mesh, solver and post-processing.

Godzilla is "Genetic Optimisation and Design of Zoomorphs Is Leo Lazauskas’s Acronym". It is the evolutionary optimisation module for Michlet. Evolutionary algorithms use principles gleaned from natural genetics and evolution to guide the search for global optima of difficult functions.

Gridgen is Pointwise's legacy software, used by engineers and scientists worldwide since 1984 to reliably generate grids for CFD. Gridgen is being used to prepare geometry data for computer simulations of fluid flow and supports neutral, native, and defacto standard interfaces to CFD solvers (including the specification of solver boundary conditions), grid files, and geometry formats.

GridPro is an automatic object oriented multiblock grid generator based upon a topology engine. It provides modular parametric design.
