Autoship hull design/surface modeling program uses NURBS (Non-Uniform Rational B-Spline) mathematics, for surface modeling to create any hull shape including the superstructure and appendages.

DELFTship Free is a fully functional 3D hullform modeling program perfectly suited for students, home users or anyone else with an interest in ship design.

DELFTship Professional is a hullform modeler using the same modeling kernel as the DELFTship Free. It is extended with extra features such as automated fairing algorithms and additional import/export formats.

DFform is the surface modeling module of Defcar System and uses surfaces for defining vessel forms. It allows the definition of the vessel in a continuous three-dimensional way.

Fairway is software for design, fairing, manipulation of ship hull forms and conversions of models from other design software. Fairway is a module of PIAS, a suite of naval architectural software.

FastShip is a program for designing hulls, superstructures, appendages, and other marine structures, with the ability to design fair surfaces.

FreeShip Plus modeling kernel is purely based on subdivision surfaces. It uses a mixture of loop subdivision and Catmull Clark subdivision surfaces called quad-triangle subdivision. This enables the user to design the most complex surfaces with only one surface.

Maat is a 3D Ship Design suite, tightly combining hull modeler with a wire based hydrostatic solver, an all purpose 3D builder and a totally integrated 2D-3D drafting module allowing quick and accurate structure modeling.

Maxsurf Modeler provides modeling of all types of hulls, superstructures and appendages. An unlimited number of trimmed Nurbs surfaces can be used to model any vessel.

MultiSurf is a system for parametric design of 3D geometric objects, particularly complex objects involving freeform curves and surfaces. MultiSurf updates the entire model when you change underlying objects. It is not limited with Nurbs and 29 surface types available.

Naval Designer is an integrated software dedicated to naval architecture. It offers at the same time a graphic modeler, a studio of virtual reality and specific tools for boat design.

PolyCAD brings together a of hull surface design techniques within a user interface which allows the manipulation of geometry in 3D dimensions and supports the direct manipulation of NURBS surfaces and parametric hull generation.

Prolines is a 3D NURB surface design and analysis tool for boat, canoe, ship, yacht, work boat design analysis and development.
